There are new procedures for putting out Yard Waste for collection on Wednesdays, as follows:
1) Yard Waste should be put in either clear plastic bags or in paper bags and placed at the curb (as Republic containers will no longer be emptied on Wed). Up to 10 bags per household will be picked up, with each bag weighing up to 50 pounds. The plastic bags should be clear (not opaque) to allow for easy identification of their contents (due to COVID-19 restrictions).
2) Branches will be picked up if they are tied in bundles and left at the curb, as long as each bundle weighs less than 50 pounds, and is not more than 4 feet long.
Please note that all regular Trash (for Mon & Thu pickup) and Recycling items (for Tue pickup) must still be placed in Republic containers (carts or bins) for collection, and any additional bags or other items left out on those days will not be picked up (due to COVID-19 restrictions).
And as a reminder, Republic may come by for pickups at any time during the day, so it is recommended that all items be placed at the curb the night before (or prior to 6:00 AM on the day of) each pickup.
