Republic Services has informed us that there will be a one-day delay in their Trash and Recycling collection services this week, due to the winter storm that is expected to hit our area tonight. So at this point, the service schedule this week will be as follows:
Trash collection: Tuesday (Jan. 7) and Friday (Jan. 10)
Recycling collection: Wednesday (Jan. 8)
Christmas Tree pick-up: Thursday (Jan. 9)
They will be working on resuming their normal operations as quickly and safely as possible following the storm, and we will let you know if there will be additional delays to this service schedule.
